SupaKoto

Authenticity

Genuine film starts at the source

SupaKoto is the sole authorized distributor of TAKAI films in Egypt and the UAE. Buy from the authorized source and the question does not arise.

Why counterfeit film exists

A category problem, not a brand problem

Counterfeit protection film exists in this market. The reason is not any one brand — it is the nature of the category:

Long supply chains that pass through several hands before a workshop
Resellers with no chain of custody to show where the film came from
A product the customer cannot inspect once it is on the car
A name printed on the roll is not evidence on its own

Why TAKAI is different

R&D and manufacturing in Japan — one chain of custody

TAKAI does its research, development and manufacturing in Japan (Nippon Takai Trading & Innovation Co., Ltd., Tokyo). One country, one factory, one chain of custody from the factory to a SupaKoto branch.

What “authorized distributor” means

What we receive, what we hold, what you can ask for

What we receive

TAKAI shipments arrive at SupaKoto directly from TAKAI. There is no other authorized distributor of TAKAI films in Egypt or the UAE.

What we hold

Certificates of origin for our TAKAI shipments, and the import documentation that goes with them.

What you can ask for

The certificate of origin and import documentation — available on request at any of our branches.

How to verify

Four steps you can check yourself

Not reassurance — specific steps, each with something to show for it.

  1. Buy from an authorized SupaKoto branch

The authorized branches in Egypt and the UAE are listed on the branches page. No location outside that list sells or installs genuine TAKAI film.

  2. Ask for the certificate of origin and import documentation

We hold both for our TAKAI shipments, and they are available on request. Ask the branch before or after installation.

  3. Have the warranty registered in the tier's name at installation

The branch registers your car and protection tier, and you receive a warranty booklet naming the tier and its term. Keep it with the invoice.

  4. Know the limit of what we can verify

We speak only for film installed at our branches. We cannot verify film sold or installed anywhere else.
