Is the warranty from SupaKoto or from TAKAI?

Both, each for its part. The film carries TAKAI's manufacturer's warranty, tied to the product and registered in TAKAI's warranty system. It stays with the product, not with a salesperson or a branch. The installation is SupaKoto's responsibility, handled directly at the branch.

Why is there no single warranty number on this site?

Because each product has its own term. Your certificate names the product on your car and its term. That is the figure that counts.

My quote names a product I can't find here. Is it genuine?

TAKAI updates its range, so product names and generations change over time. Before installation the branch confirms the current product going on your car and its warranty term. Ask, and we'll show you.

Can you verify which roll was used on my car?

Yes, for film installed at our branches. The product and roll data are registered at installation, and TAKAI can confirm through its official channel that the material came from the authorized source.

What voids the warranty?

Removal or modification of the film by anyone not authorised, accidents, chemicals, incorrect washing or care, and misuse. The full list is in your product's terms.

Does the warranty transfer if I sell the car?

Yes. It follows the car for its remaining term. Come to a SupaKoto branch together with the new owner and the certificate, and we update the registration. The transfer is complete once that record is updated.

How do I file a claim?

From the claim page: plate number, branch, invoice date, a description and photos. We reply with inspection steps.

After installation, the branch records your car and the exact product on it in TAKAI's warranty system. That record is what a claim is checked against, and it can be verified through TAKAI's official channel, not only through us.
